Sunshine Video

I started shooting video back in 2000. It was mostly a family thing with some video of Life Teen a teen youth program that I have been involved in over the years. After playing around with iMovie and various computer programs to make more interesting movies an opportunity came up of shooting my partners wedding back in April of 2004. Mike was an old friend that was getting married and I thought it would be fun to record it for him as a wedding present. I played around with it and did a multi camera edit, one of Mike's friends used another camera. The project turned out so well and we had such fun doing it that we decided to start a company in 2006 with our first wedding video of Brian and Stacy Gove we were off to the races. 

I started on a lifelong quest to learn Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Live Type, Motion, Photoshop, Pro Tools and many other related computer programs. Final Cut has over 600 commands alone not to think about all the other applications. It has been a lot of fun and very rewarding.

Let's get it started

I have spent my life following my passion. In the early years it was golf and my career of choice was being a PGA Professional. I worked at various clubs around the country, spending time in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida and Arizona. My next career was working for Ping http://www.pinggolf.com/. After leaving Ping in 2005, I started a Video Production company with my friend Mike Scheutzow in 2006. We mostly do weddings and celebrations that lend themselves to video. 

On a more personal note, I have been blessed with a wife (Louise) for 41 years and 3 married sons with 3 wonderful daughter in laws and 6 grandchildren. There will be more stories about them as this blog continues. More to follow...
